We have opted to use Home Assistant for our home automation. It’s a free platform that will work on a wide range of hardware, we are currently running home assistant instances on VMs and on Raspberry Pi
Current Implementations are configured for 2 different houses and two different RVs, all instances can be accessed via a Cloudflare Tunnel or Nabu Casa (Home Assistant Cloud).
